Mr. Jim Kirksey is the owner and Principal of a Charleston, WV based consulting firm Loudon Technical Services LLC. LTS provides engineering support and project management services to clients engaged in research funded through the NETL Carbon Storage Technology program. Current projects include the Illinois Basin Decatur Project (IBDP) and the Industrial Carbon Capture and Storage project (ICCS) both joint ventures with Archer Daniels Midland Corporation, Schlumberger Carbon Services, and the University of Illinois; Well Sealing with bio-mineralization techniques with Montana State University; ECO2S project with the Southern States Energy Board, Southern Company, and Advanced Resources International; the Boundary Dam Project with Sask Power, PTRC, and Schlumberger Carbon Services. Mr. Kirksey retired from Schlumberger after a 34 year career in various positions in oil and gas services with the last eight years in the Carbon Services group. Mr. Kirksey has a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Mississippi State University.
